Active-SKU Audit
SKU Audit reads Shopify Admin API data and does not depend on anonymous storefront access. Work is counted by active variant SKU and saved in batches. Reopening or retrying the same unchanged batch does not consume it again.
The audit can inspect product title, description, fact structure, vendor or brand, product type or category, featured image, image alt text, SKU or barcode, price, and variant options. The product list shows specific gaps and catalog progress.
Product Fix generation
The app reads confirmed Shopify facts, accepts optional buyer details, and drafts a product description and buyer FAQ. Generation must not invent unknown materials, performance, ratings, warranties, origin, safety claims, compatibility, or other unsupported facts.
The merchant can edit the description and every FAQ question and answer. The final preview is checked for fact support, format, and content quality before Apply.
Write boundary
The current write path is limited to:
product.descriptionHtml; and$app.ai_faq.
The app does not automatically write title, vendor, product type, taxonomy, tags, images, alt text, SKU, barcode, price, inventory, or variant options.
write_products is optional and requested only when the merchant is ready to publish. If declined, read-only audit, AI Visibility, and preview remain available within the plan, while Apply is unavailable.
Backup and Undo
Before writing, the server saves the relevant previous value. After writing, it re-reads Shopify and records the confirmation. Results retains the backup and Undo state. Undo restores the app’s backup, but merchants should review current values if another person or app changed the product afterward.
